We are excited to have some incredible, world-class idea generators that are gearing up to join us at Generate 2017 to inspire ideas, discussion and action on energy and climate change topics!

With experts from Industry, government, non-profits, and young energy and climate leaders, Generate 2017 is loaded to the brim with inspiration.

Keynote Speaker – Sean Aiken

At our Generate 2017 Gala, Sean Aiken will be speaking about his experience about how he struggled to answer the question, “What should I do with my life?” Instead of taking the first job that came along, he found a unique way of figuring it out: The One Week Job Project.

Saturday Morning Keynote – WalterMacDonald White Bear – Inspiring IndigenousConnections

Walter MacDonald White Bear is a Cree singer-songwriter originally from the First Nation of Moose Factory, Ontario. Walter will share with us about how we can inspire indigenous connections through environment, justice and social change.

 

Young Energy and Climate Leaders

On Saturday a panel of young leaders who have made a significant contribution to energy and climate change initiatives will be speaking. Through a panel discussion we will hear their first-hand experiences and be inspired to make changes in Alberta.
