Generate 2019 is a Youth Energy and Climate Leadership Summit organized by Inside Education that will provide 80 high school students and 40 teachers with a unique opportunity to learn, share and advance energy literacy in Alberta.

What is Generate?

Inside Education invites Alberta high school teachers to bring a team of two teachers and four students to the beautiful Canmore March 14-17, 2019 for an exciting weekend of learning.

Your team will take part in a variety of workshops, sessions, and activities to gain a better understanding of the most current issues and multiple perspectives in Alberta’s energy landscape.  You will meet leading experts to gain information and resources related to the science, issues, innovation, and careers of our energy. We’ll have lots of fun too, with plenty of opportunities to network and socialize with like-minded students and teachers.

Your team will leave energized and ready to make a meaningful impact as you return to your school and community.  Your challenge will be to implement an energy education project to share your learning with others.

The Venue

The summit will be hosted at the Coast in Canmore, Alberta. This exceptional facility will serve as our home and classroom for three days of education, experience and excitement.
