Canadian high school students, 14 years and older, along with their teachers
Schools can apply with a team of two teachers and four students (note: student rooms are double occupancy so equal gender ratios are required, teacher rooms can be single or double occupancy)
Where is the summit?
Generate 2020 will be hosted at the Sheraton Suites in Calgary, Alberta. Accommodations are same-gender, double occupancy.
The Sheraton Suites is located at 255 Barclay Parade SW, Calgary, Alberta.
What’s covered?
Both students and teachers will receive a full scholarship to attend the summit – this includes the program, accommodations, social events and meals starting with an evening snack on Thursday, November 5th to mid-morning refreshments on Sunday, November 8th.
Supply Teacher
If necessary, each attending teacher may apply for a maximum $150 subsidy per day toward the cost of a substitute teacher for Thursday, November 5th and Friday, November 6th. Teachers are required to adhere to the Inside Education Supply Teacher Subsidy Policy.
Travel
For Albertan teams, travel arrangements to and from the Sheraton Suites in Calgary are the team’s responsibility.
For non-Albertan teams, travel costs to a maximum of $700/deledge will be covered.
